Here's how password recovery works at Daymark — and why it works this way.
We can't reset your password for you.
Your password is one of the keys that encrypts your vault on your own device. We never see it, and we never store it in a form we can read. That's what lets us promise we can't open your vault — but it also means there's no “send me a reset link” button that would let anyone else open it either.
Your 24-word Recovery Kit is the way back in.
When you signed up, Daymark gave you a 24-word Recovery Kit and asked you to save it somewhere safe. Those words can unlock your vault independently of your password. If you have your Recovery Kit, keep it handy — the guided recovery flow that uses it is coming soon.
If you have neither your password nor your Recovery Kit,
your encrypted vault can't be recovered — by you or by us. This is the deliberate trade-off that keeps it private. If this is where you are, the safest path is to start a new account.
